Basic Structure Of Stainless Steel Jacketed Reactor

Reactor body:

The reactor body is the main body of the reactor, usually made of stainless steel. It has high corrosion resistance and durability, and is suitable for various reaction processes. Stainless Steel Jacketed Reactor Maintenance

1. Before using the stainless steel jacketed reactor, the inside of the tank must be washed with fresh water, and then sterilized with steam. Various materials enter the tank through the material pipe fixed on the tank cover, or open the tank cover and pour in. The input material should not be filled too much, so as to avoid splashing when the material is stirred, causing unsanitary environment or loss.
2. Put it into the tank according to the proportion. After it is full, start the motor again, usually 3 to 5 minutes, stir evenly, open the ball valve to discharge, and wait for the next feeding.
3. After stirring, drain the remaining materials in the tank, rinse with warm water as soon as possible, brush off the attached materials, and then use 40℃~50℃ hydrogen peroxide to fully clean the inner wall of the container and rinse with clean water until the next use.
4. Always pay attention to the working conditions of the stainless steel jacketed reactor and the reducer. When the lubricant of the reducer is insufficient, it should be replenished in time, and the oil should be changed every six months (40# engine oil). When the equipment is not in use, be sure to wash the inside and outside with warm water instead of salt water to avoid corrosion. Scrub the tank frequently to keep the appearance clean and the inner tank bright to achieve the purpose of durability.

Q: Shell damaged:

A: The damage to the stainless steel jacketed reactor shell mainly includes shell corrosion, shell cracks and shell through holes. These failures are caused by media corrosion, thermal stress and wear, and corrosion-resistant materials can be used to damage the housing. If the shell is repaired or welded, the stress shall be relieved and the crack shall be repaired after welding. If the shell exceeds the lower limit of the allowable thickness, the valve body should be replaced in time.

Q: Seal Leakage:

A: Seal leakage mainly includes packing seal problems and mechanical seal problems, such as wear or corrosion of the mixing shaft at the packing, resulting in excessive clearance; wrong seal ring size, insufficient pressing force and loss of sealing. According to different seal leakage, the treatment method is also different. The main thing is to replace or repair the stirring shaft in time, and handle it on the machine tool to ensure the roughness, compress the packing or replace the packing; the selection and installation of the sealing ring should be reasonable to ensure sufficient pressure; particles and crystals can enter the auxiliary , the control process indicator.
